What biome did Subnautica get canceled? ›

The Twisty Bridges was a biome originally planned to be found in Subnautica. Development started as early as before the first early access release. Although some flora was made for the biome, it was left unfinished and eventually was cut from the game.

no the map is static, but the area you start in has several spawn points, so a few new saves will start you in the same biome but in a different area. replayabilty is a tough one to answer, it depends on what you expect from the game, the best judge on replayabilty is you after you finish the game.

In the older subnautica versions, there was a bottom about 3000 meters deep. But later, it got removed, probably for performance improvement. Now, the crater edge is 8192 meters deep, when you reach that “bottom”, there is no bottom, but you are teleported back to the surface.

The Crash Zone Trench is the area behind the Aurora, which the latter unearthed during its descent. It is divided into two sections: The shallow, western trench, and the deeper and wider eastern trench. The biome is extremely barren, only hosting one Fauna species and no Flora or Coral in the biome.

One of the bigger reasons they're removing it is because people use it to break into cave systems without finding the actual entrance. Why bother finding the entrance when you can just terraform a hole straight down you know? Yeah, basically it's just wildly impractical for their team size to try and get working.

The original ending that we are currently promised. Create cure. Get cured, build a ship, GTFO off of the planet. The unique thing about this ending is that it only cures the player, and the planet is forever blacklisted and marked as dangerous an uninhabitable.
